Building a Federal Business: Updates in Federal Contracts, R&D and OTAs

  • The IDEA Center at Innovation Park 1400 East Angela Boulevard South Bend, IN, 46617 United States (map)

The federal budget deal passed by Congress and signed by President Trump on February 9th increased defense and domestic spending to $700B and $591B, respectively. The spending bill passed and signed into law on March 22nd offers greater clarity on how the Federal Government intends to spend the increased funding.  The growth in federal spending presents businesses in our region with new opportunities to increase sales and capture R&D dollars.  Join LaDue Curran Kuehn and industry experts Dr. Michael Weatherly and Mark Longe of C5BDI for the next event in our continuing series designed to help you navigate the intricacies of doing business with the Federal Government. We will touch on the new federal spending and R&D opportunities before diving into Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracting - a little understood but critical contracting vehicle rapidly gaining favor in the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.  Whether you are considering diversifying into federal sales or seeking to increase your federal market share, this seminar will provide you with valuable insight and connections.
